Heard, McElroy & Vestal, LLC Announces Addition of New Partners

SHREVEPORT, LA, July 1, 2025 – Heard, McElroy & Vestal, LLC (HMV) is proud to announce the promotions of Kelsi S. Dickerson, CPA, Elizabeth G. Killough, CPA, and Malia Wollerson, CPA to partner, effective July 1, 2025.

Kelsi S. Dickerson, CPA
Tax Partner of Heard, McElroy & Vestal, LLC

Kelsi joined the tax staff of our Monroe, LA office in September 2013 immediately following an internship with HMV. Her experience includes the preparation of financial statements and tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts.

A native of Monroe, LA, Kelsi received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master in Business Administration from the University of Louisiana at Monroe, where she graduated summa cum laude. During her time at ULM, Kelsi was a member of two honors organizations, Beta Alpha Psi and Beta Gamma Sigma. She is a graduate of the Leadership Ouachita Program and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Society of Louisiana of Certified Public Accountants (LCPA), and is currently serving on the Career Awareness Committee with the LCPA. Kelsi stays active in the community by volunteering her time with the Northeast Louisiana Young Professionals, Junior League of Monroe, United Way, Food Bank of NELA, Medcamps, and at her church North Monroe Baptist Church.

Elizabeth G. Killough, CPA
Tax Partner of Heard, McElroy & Vestal, LLC

Elizabeth joined HMV Shreveport in August 2006. Prior to working at HMV, she was employed with KPMG, LLP in Shreveport, LA, where she was an intern and member of the tax staff. Prior to working for KPMG, Elizabeth served as an air traffic controller for the United States Air Force. She specializes in tax compliance for closely held businesses and high wealth individuals, as well as estate tax matters through which she has experience as an expert witness at trial. She also remains responsible for the preparation of tax returns and tax planning.

A native of New York City, Elizabeth is a graduate of Louisiana State University in Shreveport, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Louisiana Society of Certified Public Accountants (LCPA), the Council of Petroleum Accountants Societies (COPAS), and the Tax and Estate Planning Council of Shreveport. Elizabeth participates as a volunteer for Junior Achievement, is a graduate of the LANO Board Leadership training program, and a 2017 member of the Greater Shreveport Chamber of Commerce 40 Under 40. As a member of the Tax Department, Elizabeth regularly contributes articles to area publications and has delivered presentations with a particular focus on estate-related matters.

Malia M. Wollerson, CPA
Tax Partner of Heard, McElroy & Vestal, L

Malia has served as a Tax Director in the Shreveport office of Heard, McElroy & Vestal where she focuses on oil and gas taxation, high wealth individuals, and private foundation compliance and consulting. Prior to joining HMV in November 2009, Malia was a Tax Manager with KPMG, LLP.

She is a graduate of Louisiana Tech University, with an undergraduate degree in accounting and went on to pursue a Master of Professional Accountancy. Malia maintains memberships with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Louisiana Society of CPAs, the Council of Petroleum Accountants Society, and The Tax and Estate Planning Council of Shreveport.

In 2014, Malia graduated from the Leadership Shreveport program through the Greater Shreveport Chamber of Commerce and is a former chairman of the advisory board for Leadership Shreveport. An active community volunteer, Malia serves in the children’s ministry at Cypress Baptist Church, the PTO of Providence Classical Academy and several other local organizations. In 2015, Malia was a recipient of the 40 Under 40 award of the Greater Shreveport Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber also awarded her with the Very Important Volunteer Award in 2016. Malia is currently serving on the board of directors for the Providence House.
